Hey all - I've got an '07 Uly. I bought the cable to connect the ECM to the laptop, but I'm not really comfortable with the software. Anyone here local to the Pensacola Area that can help me out? I'm happy to buy the beer!

It's not that bad...
What are you wanting to do?

Well, I just want to reflash to the race map/TPS reset. I don't think I have the software set up on my computer correctly and can't really figure it out, so I'm just looking for someone who has done it before so I don't goon something up.

I watched an Youtube vid on how to do it, but my software doesn't really look the same at all, so I'm way off on something.

Are you using tuner pro or ECM Spy?

Either way, if you don't have a race ECM.
You cannot just flash the race Eprom to a non race ECM; it does not work.
Yes, don't ask me how I know.

Don't bother flashing the race maps for fuel or timing either.
I've done it and the "Butt-Dyno" could not detect anything, performance wise, worth while.

I use ECM Spy ver 1.12.27, it will work for TPS reset, and flashing Eprom or maps or moding maps.
I don't know anything about tuner pro, never used it.

Which version of ECM=Spy do you have=---old or new one you need to pay for? What computer operating system? And what com port did you set it to-- they really only like the small numbered ones-- like 2,3,or 4--- and if all that is good you have to hit the key icon in upper left corner to connect and see live data. Then you can look at maps and do stuff. Let me know if you get this far and I can help.

I was under the impression that you could just flash a stock ECM with the race map fueling/timing/etc. Ah well.

Yikes - yeah - I don't know any of that stuff - that's why I was just looking to get some local help.

Yes you can flash race maps for timing and fuel.
But without the rest of the race ECM configuration, IMO, doing so does not produce any tangible improvement.
