Hello badwebbers, will fitting a xb12 belt to a xb9 work if pulleys are used and will it give better top speed and reliability?
Thanks

To elaborate upon what you are asking:
To fit the '04 (and later) belt onto '03 XB's requires using upgraded pulleys/sprockets due to the differences in the number of teeth and shape of the teeth. The belts are made by different manufacturers and you can't directly swap belts between '03 models and the '04 and later XB's. The upgrade costs in the neighborhood of $600 USD.

As bud said, all you would probably gain is greater reliability.
Mike.
