Can someone help with how we can get around the steering stop issue? The modern 09 frame we have doesn't like the firebolts dual tab scenario..should I shave them off or look for another answer??   Froggy Posted on Saturday, October 11, 2014 - 09:08 am:        What model is the 09 XB12? If it is a Ulysses or Lightning Long, You can't use 03 forks. You will need to use 05+ forks, plus a SS/Uly lower tree with the 05+ Firebolt upper tree.   Chazaag Posted on Saturday, October 11, 2014 - 10:31 am:        Thank you...I already have the forks...it has the dual tabs on the lower triple....maybe I will just look for the correct lower set....I was also considering grinding the tabs off and welding a center tab on...
