I have a XB12R-FIREBOLT 2004. I've been wanting to do a airbox mod. Any recommendations on how it's done?

Just out of curiosity...why ?
Are you racing ? Is the tach needle always up at 5500rpm or above ? Or just to say "it's so" ?

The reason I ask is, this "modification" does nothing for a daily driver, around town, even but for one to three seconds while getting on the freeway.

Same with the K&N filter addition. Lets more garbage in thAn it makes power.
