So we bought this 08 xb12s with a race ECM and now that we got the exhaust on we need to change the tune. When I try to connect to the ecm I get the error message "Access is denied." Can only ebr mess with it or what do I have to do to hack it?

Don't use ecmspy.

For those with earlier models, ECMspy works fine.
Just did some altering last night to a (as printed on the ECM) "Race Only" ECM.

Got an 09 here with Race ECM and tried Tunerpro on it, connected and gave me id but when I downloaded pretty sure I tanked it. No fuel pump any more, fan wigging out. Proper Bin and xdf files.
