The bike - 05, XB12S (just over 23,000mi.).

Ignition timing mapping section question -

First, the engine (bike as a whole) "seems" to be running fine. But, somethings amiss...

In the "maps" section, all of the cells have various number values in them related to timing values at the various rpms vs. throttle positions.
BUT, on the left side, the "throttle position" column, it's all "0's".
In the "rpm" row, across the top, it's all "0's".

On the "ECM Runtime" page, with the engine running at, cold OR warm idle rpm, the timing value shown is between 44 and 47 degrees.
When raising the rpm, the timing value drops by 2 or 3 degrees. This is at any rpm that I've felt ok with raising it to while sitting still..!
This same thing shows up on two different computers.

Anyone have a clue as to what's happening here ?

Thanks

Mike

P.s. - there are no "codes" shown on that page. All else seems to be fine.

What version of ECMSpy are you running? I have the install file for v.1.12.27 if you need the "latest" one.

1_Mike: These are the maps from my 07 12x. My maps show numbers all the way around but they are the emission and not any kind of performance maps. I've been looking to improve my mapping soon as I think there could be a lot of improvement. going to data log to get my fuel mapping better but there will be some dyno time to get timing set for all round running. Am going to get ecmspy set back up as laptop died last month and still have data but lost program.
Cataract2, could you send that build of ecmspy my way? What I had hid back is v.1.12.1. I sure would appreciate it.

Sage, send me a pm and I can send you the program.

Buford, I sent you a pm, but need you to reply if you want the program. Otherwise, send me a pm. Either way I can't send anything without an e-mail address.

Thanks Cataract, I do have the 1.12.27 version.

Sage - Yea, I know that's the way it "used" to look. But somethings gone haywire both on the "TPS/RPM" vert. and Horiz. columns.

The map I put together a long time ago looks similar to the above map, but I put more timing in the 1000 and 1350 range. But NOT as much as shown in the "ECM Runtime page on my computer.

Something in the ECM is corrupt I think as I have this program on two computers, and both show the same screens (same numbers problem).
