While the little XB's been sitting covered), some times in the garage sometimes not (but still covered, I've been putting miles on my new (not so much anymore !) S1000RR BMW. Now that the 190+hp BMW has been at the dealer for a boat load of warranty problems, for 4+ weeks...I'm back on the little XB, driving 83 miles a day. The first half is mostly in the 80+/-mph and the drive home is from 10 to 60mph. It feels almost happy to be back out on the road again..! It's a pretty simple bike, I put a 1125CR handle bar on it, I modified the stock muffler, put straight foot pegs on it, and a butt tuned ECM. Still utilizes an OEM air filter for true filtering, I put a right side scoop on it, along with a new front motor mount. The original owner did a bad job of putting HID headlights on it that I changed around a little. I forgot how 49/50mpg and being able to turn on a dime is...! Mike P.s. I also have an 1125CR that needs a front cyl. exhaust cam. But not till after my next car is on the road..! |
