I was planning on buying one, but I thought I would ask a question of them first. I submitted a question through their product inquiry page. I asked if they had actually tested one to reset the TPS on an XB9R. I sent the question in a couple of weeks ago and still haven't heard back. I would like to have an answer from them before I spend my money. |

Same here Dean... I will get one but it'll be a few months. It'll be after a Drummer and then I'll probably get this and a race ECM at the same time. Probably a Techlusion as well. |

good point bud, but if one wishes to do the job at home, however infrequently, the tool would then become a necessity. one may also be able to mimic the function of a larger "pilot jet" by doing a TPS ZERO value reset at slightly less than zero throttle. one could use a value of resistance across the tps leads which corresponds to say 90% of closed throttle resistance. this would in effect lead the ecm to enrich the off idle fueling by some amount in the realm of 10%, this may smooth out the part throttle cruise, off idle performance, and in general make the injection behave itself better. |
