I have a set of Jim's semi solid lifters and adjustable chromoly push rods laying around and was thinking of installing them in my XB. They came out of a race motor I had and have just been collecting dust with a few other go fast goodies that I will probably install eventually. Any thoughts on this? The bike is an XB9R. No real engine mods yet. Micron exhaust and Daytona Twin-tec tuner. Will be installing a lightened crank and possibly big bore pistons.

If you install adjustable pushrods, don't you need collapsible tubes to get at them and adjust them?

I know these XB9 engines already rev up pretty nicely. If you really want an XB9 to rev to 10,000 RPM and put out 150HP, I would suggest getting a 1125R.

Yeah, I have the collapsible covers for them. I'm not looking for huge hp, I just have the parts here and they're doing nothing but collecting dust. So why not use them right??

So they sell collapsible covers that fit XB engines?
