Is anyone using the Traction Foot Pegs?
What are your opinions?

My old boss in Waterloo had them on his Firebolt and liked them.
I rode it several times and they did seem to be more comfortable than the stock ones.

Stealth, I've got them. Reduces vibration through the pegs, obviously they grip the boot soles better. I think they look a lot better than the stock ones as well. Dunno if I'd have spent the $70+ on them (I got them free), but hey, they ARE nice.

Bear in mind that they only come in the 'R' style, not lowered like the 'S' pegs.

I wonder if they make Traction Tires...you know ones that have better traction than non-Traction Tires?

Just kidding man...

Make sure that he know that the tires are sold as fronts and rears!

Darthane...
Good lookin' out I did not know that.
What exactly is the difference in the two?

I guess I will wait to change the pegs until I make the triple-clamp conversion.

Stealth, the R pegs are an inch higher than the S pegs (they stick straight out from the mounts, whereas the S pegs drop from the mount). They are interchangeable, but you'll most likely have to adjust your brake pedal as well as the shift peg, not to mention get used to the new position. An inch may not sound like much, but it reduces the angle your knees are at quite a bit. I've had both styles on my R, and actually prefer the higher pegs (I'm still relatively young and limber, though!).

I've often thought an inch would make all the difference in the world.
