I have a 2005 Firebolt. I want it to look just like the bike I have pictured here. It has the bigger fairing like mine but the shorter tail section and it has a lower saddle. How so I achieve this. Exactly what tail section and seat is that?

Looking at the picture ,i think it is a lightning tail with risers and a low seat with a seat cover on.

Why not asking the owner on xb.com?

A okay

It also could be a lightning with a lower mounted firebolt fairing (i see now fuse boxes on near the mph/rpm clocks)

Wow awesome thank you!

Yep, its an XB12S. So that's a Lightening with a Firebolt fairing. Back to the drawing board.

I reeeeeaally want my bike to have THAT look.

Thanks guys!

No problem ,it was a lucky guess.

You have to find a complete lightning tail and a lightning upper triple clamp and also make a mount to position the firebolt fairing a bit lower ,he did lower the fork legs through the triples instead lowering the fairing.

btw: a tailsection from a ss does not fit on the early xb's

Good luck with the conversion!
