Hey guys Im taking apart the forks so I can put in new fork seals. I ran into an issue the brass piece that is inside of the preload adjuster is to far down to remove the snap ring. The other one seemed normal and came off, but on the other side the snap ring groove it to far down to remove. How do I get the rebound adjuster assembly to come higher up?

Thanks
Barry

Picture?

If It's Too far down in the fork cap; go a few steps out of order in the service manual and take off the fork cap now. that will let you put a wrench on the underside of the preload adjuster so you can turn it and expose the snap ring.
