oh but wouldnt the 9 be a more even match for the ss1000?

That dyno sheet is wrong.
The torque and hp lines should cross at 5500rpms.
So the Ducati lines should move to the right a bit.

That article is the reason I don't read sport rider any more. Total crap. The dyno charts are doctored and the article makes some really strange claims about the XB. They claimed the XB12 had to be kept near redline to get the bike to go anywhere. If it wasn't for the pictures I'd wonder if they'd even ridden the bike.

For a better comparison of the Firebolt and the Supersport, check motorcycle.com's review of the XB9R and the 900SS.
