Can the fairing mount be welded? Is it magnesium? Anyone tried epoxy (JBWeld)?

let me guess there is a crack or break? the casting will not bend. it can be welded, but make sure you find a welder that knows how to weld cast. it's a process. the material has to come up to temp slow and left to set when done. assuming your talking about the firebolt mount. that mounts off the 2 ears off the front of the frame.

Yeah, it's cracked across one of the side mounts. Former owner tried epoxy, but I want it done right. I've removed it from the bike and will look for a local specialty welder.
