So i decided to buy a new set of bars for the 9s. Went with protaper SE, cr mid bend. The color isnt what i expected but thats cool cuz once the first snowflake flies the bike is getting completly gone over. But anyway onto the real point. I have nappoleans on the bike now but the new bars are made of thicker matterial so the mirrors wont fit into the bars. Any ideas on a differant set that might work. Im realy trying to avoid going back to the lollipops.

Put the micky mouse ears back on and put on the bar end helmet locks instead! (Great for vibration reduction also!!)

Get a Third Eye Bar end mirror. Cost about $12 at a bike shop. If the rubber grommit is too large to fit in the bar end just sand it down until it fits. I swapped out my bars with some Azonic CR Lows and had the same problem.

What i do is take a big bolt, cut tread inside the bar-ends.
Dril the bolt and cut tread in there, cut the head off and screw it into the bar.
now cut the thingy off the napoleon so it's
flat to mount it against the bar.
bolt the mirror into the new "insert" and you're done.

Thanx for all the input, charley thats a really good idea i may have to look into, but as it stands right now my step dad got it to work. I left the bars with him today and had to go do somethings and when i got home there the bars were sittin on the kitchen table with the mirrors mounted in them and the hole for the controls drill(didnt expect that part) so ill see how it works out.
