hi all- I am looking for a pipe that fits a 2003 XB9R Buell Firebolt. I am looking for a pipe that fits and is loud. I ride in a very hot climate where everyone rides with the ac maxed, and windows up. So loud is definitely a part of this equation. Power would be good, but need noise.

any recommendations would be greatly accepted. I have searched, however I seem to be running up on only a few options, willey co, drummer, and the race kit. Cost is also a concern, as shipping will be a bitch.

Thanks
Frankie

If sound is the primary concern, go with a D&D or a Force. I don't recommend the Force... Do a search. The D&D is expensive, the Force is VERY expensive. If you want loud, performance AND a reasonably inexpensive solution, I strongly recommend the Drummer.

how about a 90 degree bend from the auto parts store, a 16 inch long piece of exhaust pipe, 2 clamps, and a foot of 3/16 x 1inch strap. for 25 bucks you can have it as loud as you want.

Thanks Dave, I may take you up on that offer, but it will be a while. Anyone know the website for drummer?

Thanks

I took my Jardine off because it was a POS (exhaust leaks, missing rivets). Now Im running open headers(Can you hear me now?) until Jardine sends me my replacement. It's funny, I had problems from the day I put the Jardine on. Sputtering at 4K, backfiring, and poor performance. Took off the pipe and ran with out it and all those problems went away. The bike runs better than it ever did with the Jardine on. Yes its loud, sounds like a sportster with straight pipes. My new pipe will be in this week. I hope it doesnt have the same problems as my last one. I will kinda miss the attention Im getting with the open headers though
