I am short on time so a search and investigation is in the future BUT....my STT has had a constant check engine light on for a hundred miles or so. First 50 or so it was intermitant, now it's solid. Bike's running good except if I turn it off (like for gas) and 3-6 minutes of sputter/cough, then smooth again. What's the best way to read the error codes, besides the jumper cable on the plug? Will the ECMspy cable give me a readout on my laptop?

TIA

steve

Yes ECMspy will read the codes and help you figure out what is going on

I'd guess defective O2 sensor letting too much fuel in and fouling the plugs.
