It started hiccuping while it was riding like it was not getting fuel & cutting off. It is getting fuel because in can smell it and the fuel pump is running. The starter is turning but will start to fire and cut off. I have new plugs & the gap is correct.

if everything is goo like you stated my next guess would be something do to with ignition system so i would start with plug wires and probably work backwards from there

Check plug wires to make sure they didn't wear through and short on the frame. Also make sure they are really snapped down onto the plugs, a little grease on the boots helps with this.

The problem I had was the idle adjustment screw had backed out.
