I had a kid run an intersection a couple of weeks ago and my 04 xb12s is going to be totaled. The bike still runs....just not way it's going to move again.

I can keep the bike if I want to go that route, but what can I put the motor into? Love the motor.....any suggestions.

Just a sad time right now.

Probably be easy to retrofit that engine into an 07 Uly that died of a bad crank, though after a rash of them we haven't seen any lately.

There is a Uly with 68k miles for sale in the classified section now cheap... get that without fear, and keep your 04 in the corner of the garage as insurance if the motor goes.

Part it out and make some money off the crash.

Sorry to hear it. hope the pilot is OK.

There is also a guy on the old school buell section that bought an old tuber without a motor.

I don't know which part of the country your in but here's a fairly cheap option

Ad says he thinks it's just a bad starter so you could get a whole other motor to have for backup...

That BOTT XR1 is available as a kit now, but just the frame alone is 1800 euros plus shipping...
