Hi Everyone, I need a high resolution picture of DB-killers for Sebring Twister or Remus Revolution (probably both exhausts have the same construction). In my 2007 XB12SS i have Sebring exhaust and i don't have DB-killers. Thanks for help. | ||

@Blackm2 Hi, i live in western Poland, near Wrocław city. @Brother_in_buells I know, google is our best friend :-) but i'm looking for real photo from somebody, who have this exhaust in XB12. Anyway, a few days ago i wrote to Sebring Poland and they ordered for me DB-Killers from headquarter Sebring in Austria. Today i received package and i'm surprised because DB-killers looks different than all db-killers which i have seen on photos in internet. Could somebody make photo of his own db-killers from Sebring or Remus exhaust. Below are the photos my new db-killers which a received today. Additionally, they have information "NOT FOR ROAD USE". What's going on?? "NOT FOR ROAD USE" is their way of saying that if the police give you a ticket for too loud exhaust, they aren't to blame. | ||

In many places (US and I believe EU), it would be illegal to build and sell those parts for any kind of road use, because they have not been certified by government transport agencies. So the manufactures have to stamp that on there just to be able to sell them. If you want to stay perfectly legal, stick with the stock exhaust. As a person with ears who is tired of people on motorcycles with high needs for attention, I thank you for trying to quiet down your aftermarket pipe! | ||

Thx for Your help. On the German site i found new Sebring Twister set with DB-killers and they looks exactly the same like db-killers which i received from Sebring, so now i calm down.  Anyway, when i read Your posts, i started to think about loudness of exhausts like remus, sebring, jardine. Is these pipes have approvals and can be used on road? If i good remember, maximum loudness of motorcycles in my country can't be higher than 96 DB. Whether these exhausts meet these standards? | ||

I doubt they would be legal, particularly without the inserts. With the inserts, I am not sure, the manufacturer ought to be able to tell you. In the US you can pretty much get away with loud pipes unless you have done something else to tick off the policeman first, and he wants to throw the book at you. For now anyway, all these straight pipe Harley riders are doing *such* a good job at being #&&holes that even I, who love bikes and motorsports, am sick of hearing their %^#&. I'd love it if they started doing roadside DB checks and issuing tickets. When I was visiting Germany, I saw the police pulling over bikes and doing sound tests by the side of the road. The only people that could run around with the obnoxious pipes were American's from the local army bases  . My apologies for that to the great people of Germany who were such wonderful hosts for my visit. |
