Author Message   Primetime Posted on Friday, August 09, 2013 - 08:04 am:        Hello All, I just bought my first bike a couple weeks ago, 2009 Buell XB12R with a thousand miles on it, love it. I replaced the air filter with a K&N air filter and did a TPS reset. Surprising what a difference just that made. I have the chance to get a ram air airbox cover for it and was wondering if I really needed to get the ECM tuned. Still has the stock exhaust. Would the new airbox make that big of a difference? Just enjoy the bike as it is.   Froggy Posted on Friday, August 09, 2013 - 08:34 am:        I really recommend getting the Race ECM for stock exhausts from Erik Buell Racing, it is a night and day difference from the stock ECM, and includes changes beyond just the fuel map. The 08+ bikes are rougher in terms of stock fueling due to tighter EPA requirements, and the Race ECM lets the bike run how it was supposed to run.   Gregoxb Posted on Friday, August 09, 2013 - 02:52 pm:        ^^^ EBR ECM will make your bike ride like a boss.
