Got a question or two about doing the 240 tire conversion on my Firebolt. This is my 3rd Buell. I also own another bike with a factory 240 rear tire and can definitely tell the difference between a 180 and a 240 when cornering. I'm not going to grace the track with this Bolt only the street so not worried about losing some cornering ability.

I've searched endlessly and haven't found the answers just yet. I want to keep the belt for the conversion. With that said here are my questions:

Will an offset front pulley / sprocket (for belts) made for Sportsters work on the Bolt? It looks very similar.

If the sportster pulley works, how much of an offset is needed?

Yes I know there is a complete kit by Grandstand and some other companies but I don't want the chain. I've found plenty of offset pulleys and I'm hoping someone has done the conversion with a belt and knows exactly how much of an offset there is.

At $179 each I don't want to run into a company that doesn't do returns.
