How does the xb12ss lighting long compare to the xb9cityx in handling I know it will have more pw ,I am interested in the longer wheel base and more fork angle

I personally feel they are about the same in terms of handling. The SS does feel less twitchy, but they both handle fantastic.

i'm 200 lbs @ 6'3" and ride my 12Ss extremely comfortably. very stable at high speeds and fun on those back country roads

The XB12SS turns almost as quickly as the shorter wheelbase version but without the twitchiness.
When we raced XB's we preferred the handling of the SS/X chassis to the XBR we started with.
Power difference between the two bikes is mostly at the bottom end and torque. Once you get them wound up they are very similar.

As an Ss owner, I can say that handling is very good but you have to adjust the settings on the suspension to fit your needs. The factory set up is very squishy and soft, which is good if you want a smooth ride. If you stiffen it up though the bike becomes MUCH more sporty. Its so easy to adjust the settings too.

When I changed my muffler to a carbon fiber Jardine the bike felt like it was unhooked from an anchor. The bike went from a wolf to a cheetah.
