I am going to toss this up here, I doubt its a problem but it is something I hadn't seen before.

When I put alot of highway miles on my bike in a day, or just alot of miles in a day, I tend to check the oil as soon as I get home. Shutdown, pull of the helmet and check it right then and there. For the most part, it has been right where I left it. Just under the top of the "working range" mark. Lastnight when I did this ritual, I was down to the midpoint of the range, but trailing way above the range were bubbles. Lots of tiny bubbles. I have to do an oilchange today so I will see what the amount is when I drain it, not to mention she is looking a bit darker in shade then it has in the past. But what can I expect for 10265 miles : )

As I said this is the first time I have seen any indication of oil cavitation after a long ride...or any ride for that matter on my XB.
