I have an '04 XB12R with a salvage title. It has 24,xxx miles on it and runs well. It does have a lifter tic or something, but no issues. It has a Ventura rack, Cycle Pirates dropped pegs, Heli upper clamp and very new Shinko tires. Forks redone recently and brake pads. Belt is not great, but works. Also have few misc bits to go with it like a gutted muffler and a Stunt Worx crash engine cage I was going to install when I worked nights and saw 6-8 deer a night. Anyway, I'm going to put it on craiglist but am having a hard time putting a value on it. Any thoughts? Or offers?   | ||

I have a CarFax and Autocheck vehicle reports but they don't tell my why it was salvaged. They do say no wrecks though. | ||

That title changes the value to a potential buyer that needs financing. In fact, it's a complete deal breaker for that buyer. For someone that has cash and wants an XB12R that needs a little love, it would likely represent bargaining leverage. I would price it will some wiggle room in mind. |
