I pick up my new 2005 Buell XB12S in Black this week and cannot wait to get it - the test ride was definitely not long enough! I've had everything from Harleys to race replicas and I can only say this - I should have bought a Buell long ago. Anyway on to my question - the only thing that I would change about the bike is those tall round mirrors. I have seen in some of the photos on the site some bar end mirrors. Any comments, suggestions, things to look out for, places to buy etc. from you guys in the know would be much appreciated.

There are also Napoleon bar end mirrors. I have a set I need to sell. New in the package.

I have them in the classified thread

(formerly dasxb9s - still need fewer mirrors)

Bought these for $7 a piece at a local bicycle shop and they work great and don't vibrate anymore than the stock mirrors........

Just curious - are you getting a 12S or a 12Scg?

whos yo daddy, I went with the regular and I found out when I picked it up that it is actually a 2004. I can't ride it enough though I'll tell you that. And it looks way better with the bar end mirrors and to answer noangel's question I rode mine all night tonight and the mirrors didn't move once.

See ya!
