Hey folks. I've had Sharkskinz full fairing on the bike since I got it. I always loved the way it looks. Now I'm older and working on it (9R) is such a PITA because I have to take the Sharkskinz off each time. I'm thinking about buying a set of OEM fairings and going back to stock. If not for the looks (stock look has grown on me), cooling issues (my bike runs very, very hot even with small RSS) and working on the bike. What do you all think? Can I just grab a set of OEM fairings and slap them on?

I've come to see the full fairing as kind of hokey and junky looking. Incomplete if you will.

Yeah, they're more trouble than they're worth. I'm kinda feeling the look of naked fairings now. Just ordered them from a dude in NY woot!

I'm gonna prep them to save money on paint. And gotta get some of those engine sliders. I have the pucks already.
