I'm installing a 2008 engine in a 2005 frame. I also installed a wiring loom from a 2009 9SX but I think the wiring is from 2010 because it has two plugs for o2 sensors. I just can't find for what this 3 pins plug is for.

can anyone help ?

You can see the idle control servo in the picture and that it is already plugged in. I guess it is for the fuel pressure sensor.

What color are the wires running to the socket? You can use those to trace them in the wiring diagram. Should tell you where they go and what the plug is for.

Hope this helps, Dave

Rotor,

as You are using a 2010 wiring harness You will probably run into minor problems. One I could think of is that the fuel pump connector will probably not fit Your old pump (unless You have installed a later style fuel pump).
Try to get a EEPROM flash that fits to Your application for Your DDFI 3 (one that doesn´t use the fuel pressure sensor as this will get You into trouble certainly). The DDFI 3 is a very powerful ECU. Maybe You find somebody who could help You with setting it up right. It can be done definitely.

Good luck.

i have a BUEZD ecu from a 2009 XB9 bike ( probably a 2008 MY ). I will flash it with a 2008 XB12 full eeprom.

For the fuel pump connector you are right, i ordered at local HD dealer connectors to do the correct adapter like this one :

thank you for the help and regards from Switzerland
