Do you mean install new ones? Pretty easy if you carefully note how the existing ones are routed. The bottom end of the clutch cable is very fragile. Screw it in first all the way, then carefully bend the cable to route it through to the lever. Put extra effort into not stressing it down at the bottom.

Wow, this forum is a ghost town over the last couple years.

I'm sure that you have already done it all, but for future reference and others:
Do not over tighten the clutch cable into the primary cover! Seriously, the amount of force it takes to screw a cap on a pop bottle is enough to snap the threaded bit. Hand tighten it and use thread sealant. Also, route the cable after threading it into the primary, or you could snap it due to the bending forces.

Yes.. DO NOT overtighten the clutch cable... I was installing one on my son's CityX two weekends ago and ruined a $50 cable and then had to remove the primary cover to get the threaded portion out... so a $50 cable change cost me about $130 total....should have been a 15 minute job..

You got lucky, sometimes it breaks the primary cover.

Yes, I was lucky, I 1st thought I had stripped out the threads in the primary...

If it was not for the outer sheathing on the cable having a hole worn in it (causing oil to drip on the floor) I would not have bothered changing the cable in the first place..
