Has anyone used a powercommander for an x1 to good effect on a xb9?

the ecm is going to try and make the perfect AF no-matter what the pc3 is doing

I have a PC3 and uprated O2 on my nine (euro moddle:snorkel out, K&N, Luckys exhaust, white-wire snipped). I would be interested in hearing if the experiences of others replicate mine.
The instructions with the PC3 forbid alterations under 3500 rpm, ie the closed loop mode, yet the dynojet rolling road instructions include a specific Buell section that adds or removes fuel at zero throttle within that area to cure popping on overrun.
I got best results in mid-range throttle-response rather than top-end power, but repeated runs to the rev-limiter zapped the speedo-sensor.
The bike runs well on the dyno but then seems to 'unlearn' its maps (Which I presume is the normal open-mode thing doing its job, somehow)back on the road.
The TPS seems to be unsettled by the whole process, too and I'm not too sure where the AFV value that is bandied-about all fits-in.
I think that I know how the standard system works, thanks to the knowledge-vault, but remain a little concerned that there is a trick I am missing to getting the X1 system to work on the 9 on any kind of permanent basis.

Forcebuell if Dynojet told you the PCIII is still available then that is news to alot of us because Dyno jet has discontinued it. Not 2 months ago I had a tuner shop call to see if he could get one. I managed to get one from a Badwebber but still it is interesting the Dynojet is telling you its still available.

Of course I remember. I was thanking you for throwing my name out there.

Martin, i ride an international (Australian) model... was under the impression there are only two models, domestic and international... If so, that would mean I too would have said white wire to snip...

More details???

Sam, you might have mail shortly...

Or, martin, yours is a 9, mines a 12...

I wonder if it'd not be in the 12 since it's got the interactive exhaust for a bit of quiet...

Incidentally, I suspect the interactive exhaust opens at around 5,200rpm or there abouts.

Anyone else??
