Hi gang, just got home from a ride and parked my 2007 XB12R in the shed and now the ignition switch will not turn to the lock position. I have just had the front end apart to fit new steering head bearings but did not touch the ignition switch. Has anyone got any clues as to why ........

Not having my front end apart, I am only speculating...

But there has to be some alignment of those head components as normally you cannot move the key to lock unless you have the bars all the way to left-full-lock.

Sorry, that's not much help, but something triggers that ability with handlebar position

The thing is that it worked just fine when I reassembled the front end.
