I'm 6'4 and was wondering if the xb12r is a good bike for someone like me |

You would need to ride one and decide for yourself. Search the archives for a discussion about two weeks ago and a lot of people chimed in on their height and weight. |

I'm 6' 4" and have no problems with the bike. I ride it everyday to work, weather permitting. (rain- no snow here) (Message edited by Tatsu on August 14, 2004) |

Moboy nailed it. No matter what your height everyones arm, leg & body lengths are different. And riding style. So you should test ride (if you can) any bike you wish to buy. At 6'1" the 12R fits me VERY well but perhaps not someone else the same height even. Good luck on whatever you choose. |

I'm also 6'4" and have no problems at all with my 9R. I ride it regularly over long distances and love it. You really should test ride it to see for yourself. When I was looking to buy one initially it 'looked' so small on paper I almost decided against it, but as soon as I took my test ride I was hooked |

remember that it's a cheap change to put the 1" lower S pegs on if you need a little more legroom as well. the thicker comfort seat (i forget the real name) adds a little seat height which can add more legroom as well. 6'4" here and with the S pegs, it was great. |

6'1" and my 9R fits me perfectly. I did the S pegs too. First time today I did a longer ride, about 150 miles and I could have used the comfort seat as well. |

6'4'' here on a 9r. I went from the s pegs to the original R pegs and it seemed to make me feel more confidant |
