Good Evening folks, I have a lot of trouble finding out a xb12r (firebolt) in Quebec. I'm looking to purchase one. More precisely for a 2004 model since the 2005 are out. Except for the fork there's no major difference between the 2005 and 2004 models. Buying the 2004 will bring the cost down too. Any canadian fellow who have bought it ? Which price you pay for it ? I have a hard time here to deal it since they don't have any in inventory and the Harley dealership are not incline on having any Buell in their inventory... thx for your input |

Lonestar in Winnipeg had a cpl 9rs when i took mine u there for the 5000 mile service i THINK. 633-BIKE or 1-877-633-2453 Good luck, I'll NEVER take my bike there again, even if it is only 150miles instead of 300 to my other dealer. |

Shop the dealerships, then find the bike. That seems to be the smart way to go. Better an extra hundred miles to smiles than a hundred less to disdain and despair. Voltaire, Go to Buell's Canadian page and run a dealership search. Then call around and talk to them about their impressions of Buells and ask if they sponsor any local riding groups out of their shop. Talk with two or three different people in each one. Ask to speak with someone in sales about bike availability, then ask to be transferred to the motor clothes department and ask someone in that department about what sort of Buell logo'd jackets and t-shirts and whatnot they might have, then ask to be transferred to the service department and ask to speak to both a service writer and a Buell technician and ask about computer resets and charges and scheduling and tire changes and options and so forth. Eventually you'll have a fairly complete picture of each dealership without having set foot in any of them. You don't have a whole lot of choices up your way in where to go, but your medium long list will now be shorter and easier to decide which ones to visit and which ones to avoid. Any shop listed on Buell's dealership locator page can or should be able to order a bike for you, or should be able to get one transferred from another dealership in your region. The Dealership Factor is quite often the biggest factor in Buell Ownership Happyness. Enjoy the Experience. Life is too short for anything less. MikeJ. |
