I know I live in AZ but Damn. The raised BUELL decals on the airbox, when hot they cant be touched at all.. Now it seems that any time they move a round on the airbox. Is this normal and how the hell Do I get them off if it is. I loved the red Letters on the black box but it looks ghetto now.....

WD40 might do a good job at dissolving the glue and the oil prevents it from sticking back down. Some strong thin string or fishing line might also help, pull it along between the tank and letter.

All that said I think I just started pulling and all mine came off. You might want to buy some reflective decal sheets and cut new letters out. So far mine have not given me any problems in the sun on the hottest days I've had the cycle out.

Using a hair dryer to heat it up before pulling it off helps too, that's how I removed the cheesy reflectors from the front forks. Then use Goo-gone to get rid off the sticky stuff. Use cloth rather than paper when wiping off Goo-gone, paper scratches up plastic.

1+ on goo gone, or goof off for removing old adhesive. Dap contact cement held my raised letters on my tuber's tank for years in the high desert sun, less likely to slip, draw a light line in the bike, maybe use a light colored crayon, so you can line the letters up right.

The crayon should wipe off with a cloth.
