Anyone out there reinstalled a stock muffler? If so, was hooking the interactive exhaust cable back to into the bike a difficult job? Any tips?

Thanks,

Jack

I take it your neighbors have forced you into selling your Drummer...that's too bad.

Setting it back up is a piece of pie. If you can set up brake levers on a push bike you are set...

If you are currently using the race ECM you'll need the stock one, followed by a TPS reset.

I am under the impression that if you put the original ECM back on the bike it came from, with the original pipe the ECM was set for, you wouldn't need the TPS reset. Could be mistaken...

Why should he need a TPS reset. My understanding is that the TPS value is set in non-volatile memory, so once it's set, it's set. Otherwise, you would need to visit the dealer every time the battery was removed or discharged.

if the ecm was ok when removed, it will be happy when you put it back in. unless you CHANGED the Throttle Position Sensor itself, or it has worn or degraded a significant amount, you will be ok.
