I have an email in to Kevin at KDFab but was looking to you folks to see if anyone has any other insight to offer. Has anyone removed the rear 2 band clamps without removing the idler pulley/tensioner? If so do you also have any tips on putting it back together so it is easier to get to those nuts on the clamps? Any advice or direction would be greatly appreciated.

I think? that I just used a 6" extension, it's been a while but I don't think you need to take off the idler. I used to run a Drummer. Stock is the same too as far a accessing those clamps.
It makes life lots easier next time if you do
turn the clamps around so you can get at them as you suggest. I turn them around so you get at them from the left side of the bike.

Easiest way is to use a 1/4 inch drive, 11mm deep socket and 6" extension. Place the clamps and nuts on top and the extension will slide in between the belt and idler no problem.
