Well I just got my 2007 XB9r delivered last week. It looks like the front right blinker is out because it doesn't flash and the rear blinks really quickly. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for brighter replacements to the stock incandescent bulbs. Do they make LED replacements? Also what is a good replacement for the stock headlights? Also if anyone lives in Michigan, any suggestions on insurance. |

You can order the newer model LED blinkers from American Sport Bike or there are lots of off brands available through eBay & etc. Whichever route you take I would get the new module from American Sport Bike as well so that the LEDs work right. Send Al an e-mail & he'll tell you what to get. I got the DDM 35w HIDs for the headlights which many people out here seem to like. I haven't had a chance to install yet, but I'm confident I'll be pretty happy. |

I have just installed the 35w HID kit that American Sport Bike sells in the low side & the upgraded filament type bulb they offer for the high side. The difference is night & day (pun intended). Al explained that it is better to only do the low side because switching a HID light on and off repeatedly will shorten the lifespan (turning hi beams on and off). |
