I'm thinking about getting these turn signals for my 03 black xb9s.

http://www.pjsparts.com/catalog/product_info.php?c Path=59&products_id=641

Has anybody else used these ? If so were you happy with them, did you have to use the resistors to change the blink rate ? And did you have any trouble installing them ?

One of my turn signals is starting to fall apart and I was thinking about swapping all of them out.

Thanks,
Bill, Charlotte NC

Nope

They're very very bright, and they work really well.
Too spendy for me and I'd not buy them, but I got them for a song during a fire sale at a dealership that was going under.
Win!
You'll like them I'm sure.
Rizoma makes/sells quality stuff to be sure.

I can't picture what those might look like installed. Any pics?

The Rizoma turn signals are disposable. I never got more than 2 years out of the 3 sets that I've had.

Yes I have the led flasher.

I sold mine after I got an offer I couldn't pass up.
I'll see if I have a pic somewhere.

I have nothing but good things to say about PJ's parts. Top notch vendor for sure. Pj sat in the phone with me for about an hour measuring Rizoma mirrors for the XB until we found the right set. Even met him and Paige at the dragon one year, Paige noticed the mirrors and introduced herself.

You can modify your stock flasher to disable the higher flash speed, easier than using resistors. Another option is the flasher from American Sport Bike.

Rizoma indicators are supplied with the necessary resistors and control box needed to mount these. Some bikes need the resistors and some don't (Buells usually do) but all mountings MUST use the small control box that is supplied with the indicators. If you don't use it you will blow the LED in a very short time indeed!
