Finally got the transmission vent hose off. I must have the dullest diagonal cutters in the world, because even with the starter pulled, I could only un-bend the crimp on the hose clamp.

At least I now have a chance to clean under the starter and ceramic coat the header..

...which I assume youre taking off just to replace? I suppose one could just let their tranny vent all over its case but that might get a bit messy!
