everywhere i look it seems the manufactures are saying they fit up to 08. Did they change the fit. I want some shortys black, maybe red.

In 2009 they switched to the ZTL2 caliper on the XB12R, hence it has a different master cylinder and lever. If it makes it easier, look for a brake lever for a 2008+ 1125R, it is the same as the 09+ XB12R.

thanks Froggy.they seem to come in pairs. I found some unique levers but will the 1125R clutch lever fit my 09 firebolt

No, the 1125 uses a hydraulic clutch and the XB uses cable.
