Well it's that time. I have well-founded misgivings about letting another service tech touch my bike. But, don't I need their stamp of completed service to keep my warranty valid?

On a second topic, if I must take it to a dealer, to whom in Florida should I entrust it? Anyone know? Thank you for any input on this!

You can do it youself w/o voiding the warranty.

Give Rossiters HD/Buell in Sarasota a try. I've been very satisfied with the quality of service I've received from them since purchasing my first Buell in '98. Ask to talk to Matt in service about your specific concerns. I've been requesting Ray Jr. to handle the wrenches. Jimmy in sales is the man to see up front...a good friend and Buell enthusiast.

Thank you M1 and Mrh! Looks like I can perform the service, then take some scenic backroads to Sarasota for the recommended TPS adjustment that was skipped on the 1K service. It really can't work out better than that, can it?!

I did the important stuff myself (oil, filter, trans oil and cleaning the K and N.) Had the dealer do the rest, which they had no issue with. They noted my work on the invoice and warranty is fine and dandy!
