I have searched and havent found this comparison. I ride as much as i can and ride hard on the weekends. Considering the Pirellis also.No experience with them though. The 2CT's sound great, but wanna make sure they grip as well as the powers when leaned over.

I have the Pilot Power 2CT on my 1125CR currently, I can safely say without a doubt it is the single worst tire I have ever had. Grip is terrible in dry/wet/hot/cold, it ruined the handling, on the highway the bike wanders around making it hard to keep it straight, and to top it off, the tire diameter is significantly smaller than anything else Ive ever ran, resulting in an inaccurate speedometer.

Avoid it, get anything else, including a different Michelin.

Id recommend the pilot pures...had a set on my xb and gettin rdy to put them on my 1125r now..step up from the pilot power. Have had the pilot powers and like them but deffently prefer the pures more!

I had a set of the 2CT's. I would not buy them again. I do a lot of commuting miles and never really push the tire to find out how good it sticks but it always felt secure on the road.

The biggest problem I had with them was when the tire was more than 1/2 way worn, it lost it's nice round shape. It got a flat spot in the middle and a flat spot on the sides angling up to the middle. Leaning the bike in a turn was not smooth.

I know lots of commuting miles will flat-spot a tire, but this was different because of how the sides got less round in addition to the flat spot in the middle. My current tires are keeping their nice round shape.

Also, two guys on another thread about tires noticed they got more head shake with them. I got some head shake too.

I am running the Pilot Road 3's. The PR3's turn in easier and have had great wet traction and are also a 2CT tire.

After 2 sets of Pirelli's I won't be going back to them again.

Also unless you are doing track days there is no reason to go with Pilot Powers or similar tire. Most people with never come close to pushing the tire to it's limit.

I've been running Pilot Powers on my M2, XB and 1125r since they came out in the early 2000's and I love 'em!
I've had the opportunity to run several different tires and brands over the years and I always come back to the Pilot Powers.
I had such good luck and good mileage from them, I've never tried Roads, 2CT's or Pures.
