I need to replaced my spark plugs. Haven't done this yet and wanted to get some opinions on which were good to use.

I use NGK DCPR8E. They work fine.

Less expensive, and you can get them almost any motorcycle shop.

I would recommend changing up to the DPR9EA-9 plugs rather than the 8's that you are using.

The '04 wires are different from the '03, more ribs on the boot. I have one on the front cylinder and have no rain problems. 'Course it doesn't rain much in Utah.

Really? I might have to get some of those...mine also stumbles occassionally in very wet weather, but I'm not sure if it's the CHT or a bad plug wire.

Either way, I'll have all that junk open soon, so that's the time to do it!

Don't know the answer to that, but be warned, the NGKs I just bought, have the threaded top, I guess you have to get different wires?
The HD don't have the removable top so there wasn't any way for me to use the the NGKs, yet.

The 9 should be a cooler plug. Will be less prone to have predetonation on acceleration or under heavy motor loads when temps are up.

Glitch,
Sounds like the plugs you got are minus the resistor caps. The place where you bought the plugs should have some, they just thread on. You don't need to change you're wires.
