My torque wrench only does foot/pound measurements and not inch/pount measurements.

Can I just divide the inches by 12 and have a foot/pound measurement?

I would think that is the same, but Im a computer geek, not the mechanic type.

yes but it would be better to get a second in/lb torque wrench.
