Hi,
I am in the market for a set of '03 XB forks minus trees. I was wondering how much should I pay for a set?
Thanks

Forks are often damaged in wrecks so they tend to be hard to find in mint condition. I picked up a set for $250 a few years back on ebay.

I assume you are putting them on a tuber, hence you want the 03, just an FYI the 04 forks are also the same size.

What makes the '03s workable for the tuber?

Thanks Froggy,
good to know. Yup gonna put them on a M2.
These should just be a direct swap, right. I thought I read somewhere the lower M2 triple trees won't work. Then I read they do.
Can you tell me for sure?
Thanks

I can't tell you jack. If your bike has a carburetor, I try to maintain a 50' distance at all times!

you can use x1 tripples but it lowers the front end by about 3" easiest way is to use xb tripples, and press in the tuber steering stem. I think you have to counter bore the bottom and top like a tuber tripple.
