I know there have been discussion on replacing the shifter shaft assembly to make it work but no it wont bolt right up.   Starwolve Posted on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 - 10:50 pm:        You will have to change the shifter shaft if you want to use the 2005 cover on your 2006 model. The diameter of the shifter shaft was larger on the 2006 and up models. That part is a relatively easy part to replace. The other option would be to measure the diameter of a 2005 and older shaft, and turn your shaft down to that diameter. If you decide not to go this route and want to part with the 05 cover, please PM me.
