Well I hate to say it but I have not been too kind to my XB this year. Last fall I was loading it onto a trailer after going to motorcycle rally and dropped it. Well it broke both turn signals on the left side. I had ordered some stock turn signals but ended up with the wrong ones.So instead of sending them back I just decided I would get some LED turn signals. The first ones I ordered were larger than I had expected. Then summer caught up with me and I got busy doing other things. Well I got cheap and bought some new LED turn signals off Ebay. Went to install them this weekend the damn things BROKE so I am back to using the larger ones instead. I still have to get an LED flasher but other than that I am done.

Here are the rear signals installed.

Once I get the new flasher I'll post up a picture with the fronts done too.

I have a Firebolt so no Cheese Grater on mine. Still have the stock lic plate brackets though. Not a big fan of the deletes for the Firebolt.

I'll try to take a picture later to show how bright they are.

So I got the new flasher today and got the faring reinstalled. The turn signals work great and I can't wait until Thursday or Friday to go for a ride.
So here are a few pictures of the turn signals flashing. Yes I think they are brighter than the stock ones.

You can see the rear signal reflecting off the refrigerator to give you an idea how bright they are.

Worked on the Buell some more today. I had bought this axle slider kit a long time ago off Ebay. Used locktite on the bolts.

Rear axle.

Front axle.

Next I put on my Grip Puppies.

So until I get the 1K service done I am done installing parts. I have a K&N filter waiting to install and also have a VIED from KnightRider.com that I'll put on after the service. So tell me what you think so far? I know I really haven't done anything out of this world to it but I am slowly making it mine. I feel bad for not riding it much this year but will get some miles on it next year.

I like the clear signals, and they are big enough to be seen, which is a good thing. Looks nice and clean. The sliders are a nice color match for the bike too.

I've got a plate frame you can have, not sure it will improve over the HD one - though it is, uhh, blingier...

Looks like this on a Buell:

Or maybe I should mail it to Doz?

Will do!

For now anyway.... I'm dying to find someone who will want the frame, can't bear to throw it away, it is pretty nice, just not suited to a Buell...IMO
