Author Message   T9r Posted on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 - 04:59 pm:        What is the best way to go with an ECM? I have the Buell Race Exhaust and want to mount it on an 2008 bike. Should I go for the Erik Buell Racing Race ECM for $305 so it is tuned to the exhaust or go with the Stock 2008 ECM and modify it via the ECMSPY program?   Froggy Posted on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 - 05:36 pm:        Easiest route for sure is to get the Race ECM, it is preprogrammed for your pipe, and it has a bunch of other little tweaks in addition to new fuel maps. Obviously not everyone has 3 Benjamins laying around, you can try tuning it yourself with TunerPro and other similar programs.
