What type of clutch would you recommend for top performance?

I have used the Rivera Pro 1300XL with good success since it came out in 01. Barnett Scorpion is said to be a good clutch. You did however say TOP PERFORMANCE and the King of the Hill by far would be a Bandit unit...it is also King of the $$$$..but you would never need another clutch no matter HOW much performance you added to your machine

It does not have to be top performance, but something that is better then the stock clutch. Do they make clutch kits for the XB's

Lazy... Your profile shows a pretty new bike, and the stock clutches are pretty damn tough. What are your symptoms?

A lot of the drag racers have tried different clutches, only to shred them and go back to the factory part.

I am going to get the stock friction plates from Dave. My bike was a rental at HD for a little bit and who knows what people did on it. I am slowly replacing things on it and no matter what adjustments I do to the clutch it still catches way out. A little push of 1/6 the way in and the clutch is disengaged.

Does it slip? I rode an XB9R demo that was like that, I kind of preferred it. My Cyclone is the opposite.

One of those "low effort" adjustable levers might help, they probably increase the swept area at the initial point of lever pull.

it will help where the clutch catches in the grip but it does not fix the problem with the clutch itself. I think there is an actual problem in there. I am ordering new friction plates and having the clutch rebuilt.
