Since the majority of Harley dealerships either won't, or don't want to, work on Buells, is there an online list of dealerships and service shops that will work on Buells and do good work? The only shop I know of in western PA that is actively soliciting Buell owners for service has a long waiting time to get a bike serviced.

I had to leave my bike with them nearly a week ago for service and they still haven't even gotten to looking at it (stripped threads on the engine cover under the oil pump where the oil reservoir return line meets the engine). The slow turnaround and lack of adequate service locations worries the hell out of me if I decide to take a road trip somewhere and break down.

It is a little out of date, I'm assuming some of the dealers listed are no longer offering support for Buells, but I rely on people messaging me to let me know if a dealer should/should be on the list.

I like that! Can we change his screen name? No longer shall he be known as Froggy, rather "Too Cool Frank"!

Hopefully Erik releases a list of his new dealers so I can add them to that. I already know that Whites HD and Danbury HD on that list are Erik Buell Racing dealers, I'll have to think about changing this up!

Oh, and I got enough problems with my ego as is, people calling me a genius and all, so last thing I need is to be called Too Cool Frank. I already get called Froggy Farkels by the locals!

Genius? Do you work in an Apple store?

Can you make the E B R dealers/service centers in a different color?

Well, I thank Froggy for the list but it doesn't make me feel any better to know how sparse the service shops are throughout large portions of the country. Only one in western PA so certainly no competition to keep prices reasonable.

As much as I like my XT, I wish I would have considered this risk thoroughly before buying.

I haven't had first hand experience with the service department, but based on how good their parts department has recently become, I would give Powder Keg HD a chance to work on my bike.

That dealership is also just 10 miles or so from my garage, so even if they can't help you, I certainly can.

If it is out of warranty, an independent shop that will read and follow your shop manual should be able to do the work. I assume where you need repair is similar to a Sporty motor.
